The design takes up the tripartite structure of its two neighbors and develops its own approach to it. The three zones are reproduced in the façade, without zapping them. The pedestal is formed as a two-story structure in the façade and opens up to the urban space by doubling the grid. The inclined façade elements open up in the elevation towards the old town. The upper two floors are combined into one chapter and visually stretch the tower. The upper end is also formed with a sloping reveal and thus underlines the elegant appearance of the façade

The inclined façade elements are inspired by the detailing of the main station's entrance portal. The steppings are simplified and reinterpreted as a diagonal. In the plinth, the sloping elements are formed on both sides, in the upper floors only on one side. Through reduction and omission of further facade elements, as well as through the proportions of the facade elements, the building has a clear identity of its own, but engages in a dialogue with the station and the Tafelhof Palais
